The 16-year old girl was arrested in Manchester, England in connection with an investigation into the plot to bomb this year’s ANZAC Day Parade in Melbourne Australia,
She pled guilty to two terrorism charges. When she was arrested she was found with a sketch pad containing a recipe for explosives and a copy of The Anarchist Cookbook, a manual which contains (among other things) instructions on how to make bombs.

Five teenagers were arrested in April in Australia for planning the ANZAC Day attack. A bomb was to have been planted at a parade for Australia’s World War One veterans.
The English girl, who has not been named because she is a minor, was linked to a 14-year old who is suspected of masterminding the ANZAC Day attack. She was arrested in connection to the investigation targeting him.
She exchanged thousands of messages with him over the WhatsApp messaging group, commented on his plans and they discussed travelling to Syria together.
